Hi family,

It’s been a while since I’ve uploaded a blog post or a video, but I couldn’t let the day go by without sharing some Motivation with you! The title of today’s blog post is also the title of my chapter in my first book. I’m pretty sure I’ve hinted around writing a book on several different occasions. Although it’s been something I’ve wanted to do, I’m sure I speak for the masses when I say that life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness can definitely impact reaching your goals.

My chapter, Purpose Fulfilled, explains how I’ve had to make several shifts in my way of thinking in order to get to this point in my life. In December 2015, my final blog post of the year, Evolution, I shared with you that the title represented the theme for that year. Well, let me tell you, 2016 has had more highs and lows than I ever could have anticipated. Needless to say, what I realized is that, evolution or evolving is not seasonal. It happens EVERYDAY! I’ll definitely fill you in on the high and lows of 2016 when I compose my yearly wrap-up, but in the meantime, lets focus on this Purpose Fulfilled.

As explained in the video below, I am a co-author in my first published book, “Shift Happens: Inspirational Stories on Finding Happiness, Achieving Success and Overcoming Obstacles”. My chapter, Purpose Fulfilled is snippets of my journey to understanding my purpose and my frustrations with the process. I explain how, for years, I’ve had a hard time understanding God’s plan for my life, which I was not privy to! LOL! Although I’ve seen God move above and beyond my expectations in my life, I still get very overwhelmed with not knowing what His plan is for my future. Living in the moment and not being overly consumed with tomorrow has become a new focus for me. I’m definitely a work in progress. One thing is for sure, His plan has never failed me. I’m trying to learn to just let Him lead. LOL! Even as I write this, I’m laughing and asking myself, “Lord, is this a lesson you are trying to teach me about being submissive?!?!” Hmmmm…to be continued…

One final thought: No matter how long it takes for you to walk into your destiny, if God has laid something on your heart, you better believe it will manifest itself. The journey may be confusing and frustrating as hell, but for some reason, it ALWAYS works in your favor. Stay on the course, it will all come together in due time. I’m a living witness!
